## Abstract

The Department of Energy is issuing an interim rule increasing the threshold for certified cost or pricing data from $100,000 to $500,000 and deleting the requirement for determinations and findings for use of cost reimbursement contracts. These changes are required by the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994 and subsequent changes to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
