## Abstract

The Department of Energy (DOE or the Department) is amending its test procedure for kitchen ranges, cooktops, ovens, and microwave ovens. Generally, this rulemaking incorporates portions of the International Electrotechnical Commission Standard 705 and Amendment 2 thereto, and updates the annual useful cooking energy for kitchen ranges, cooktops, ovens, and microwave ovens.
