Abstract
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is amending its regulations to clarify that Agreement State licensees can seek reciprocal recognition of their license from the NRC when they are working within areas of exclusive Federal jurisdiction in Agreement States. The amendment also clarifies NRC regulatory requirements for reciprocity and the appropriate fees and filing procedures applicable to Agreement State licensees operating under reciprocity.
