## Abstract

The Department of Energy (DOE) is amending the Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation (DEAR) to make technical and administrative changes to the regulation. These changes include: adding definitions to identify those Department personnel subject to certain Procurement Integrity restrictions; renumbering and updating certain parts of the regulation to conform with recent Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) changes; correcting typographical errors; and, removing obsolete coverage. These changes are technical and administrative in nature and have no significant impact on non-agency persons such as contractors or offerors.
