## Abstract

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission) is amending Rule 2010(f) (18 CFR 385.2010(f)) to permit participants to proceedings before the Commission voluntarily to serve documents on one another by electronic means. This revision is intended to give the participants more flexibility in meeting the service requirements, and to encourage participants to gain experience with electronic service. This change is an important step in the Commission's plan to convert to broad-based electronic filing.
