## Abstract

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission) is updating and correcting its regulations for filings by major electric utilities, licensees, and others. More specifically, this Final Rule updates and corrects the Commission's FERC Form No. 1 filing instructions to: Provide for submission of data over the Internet rather than by diskette; revise certain routing symbols, office numbers, and a title; add a sentence to note that penalty for failure to file only applies if there is a valid control number; and correct typographical errors.
