EPA requests that DOJ file a proof of a claim in Aluminum Shapes bankruptcy matter, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Camden, New Jersey, Case No. 08-14631 (GMG) as to the Swope Oil Superfund Site ( Site ). EPA has a claim because Aluminum Shapes as an arranger, who by contract or agreement, arranged for the disposal of hazardous substances at the Site, and accordingly is liable for response costs pursuant to Seciton 107(a)(3) of CERCLA.
