The Consent Agreement and Final Order addresses a violation of the secondary aluminum production NESHAP. This occurred when Mercury Marine discovered it was loading oily scrap into a drying oven. This work practice violation was immediately halted upon discovery. The amount of oils, and potential excess emissions of regulated pollutants that may have occurred could not be determined.
