Violation: Respondent's tank battery was a point source discharge of a pollutant to waters of the US. The violation was identified based on a June 11, 2008, EPA inspection of a facility located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 32, Township 22 North, Range 10 East, Osage County, Oklahoma. The violation found consists of an unauthorized discharge of oil field brine to Skiatook Lake.
Relief: An Administrative Cease and Desist Order is being issued to require the Respondent to: cease all discharges of pollutants; remove the pollutants from the impacted water body; and to submit written certification within 30 days.
