Respondent is an oil and gas exploration/production operator in the western portion of the Gulf of Mexico. They have an NPDES permit for discharges primarily of produced water to the Gulf. EPA performed a Discharge Monitoring Report evaluation and found the respondent to have effluent violations, have lost permit coverage for some lease areas/blocks, and to have reporting violations. Respondent is being Ordered to fix these problems.
