This is an AO pursuant to the SDWA issued to Sonoita Water Utility (Robert E. Hinske) for his drinking water system located in Sonoita, AZ. The violations involve failure to perform initial tap samples under the lead and copper rule and failure to report to the state and to its customers its failure to conduct such sampling. The Order directs the system to perform the first round of sampling by December 15, 2003, to perform the second round of sampling by June 30, 2004 and to notify its customers of its past violations within 30 days of the effective date of the order.
