This case resolves EPA's efforts to recover past costs incurred for the removal action EPA performed at the PermaGrain Products, Inc. Site (Site) in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. PermaGrain Products, Inc. (PermaGrain) had operated the Site since 1978 pursuant to a lease with PADCNR. Land records show that the Commonwealth is the current owner of the property. PermaGrain filed for bankruptcy on December 17, 2002.
