## Summary

VIOLATIONS: The Respondent' tank battery facility was a point source discharge of pollutants, specifically brine, to the receiving waters of a tributary to Stinking Creek, located in the Southwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 1 North, Range 20 West, Jackson County, Oklahoma. The discharge of brine was documented during a December 9, 2003 inspection.

RELIEF: The Order specifies that the Respondent should also take steps to cease all discharges of pollutants and to neutralize the brine contaminated area around the tank battery by applying soil amendments to neutralize the sodium chloride. Additionally, the Order asks the Respondent to consider: (1) construct secondary containment; (2) install an automatically activated sump pump; (3) repair or replace equipment that is leaking; and (4) implementing a water maintenance program. A follow-up inspection will determine the extent of compliance with the Order
