An Expedited Consent Agreement and Final Order (ECAFO) was filed with the EPA R6 Regional Hearing Clerk on December 15, 2003 to resolve alleged violations of the Resource Conservation and Recover Act (RCRA). The violations cited in the ECAFO are for failing to meet permit exemption requirements in satellite accumulation areas and in a less than 90-day storage area, and for failing to prepare a manifest according to the regulations. Texas State University at San Marcos has taken corrective action and provided compliance documentation, has paid the agreed upon penalty of $375.00, and will perform a Supplemental Environmental Project (SEP) in the local community at San Marcos High School.
