From May 1999 to July 2003, CP discharged sanitary water and produced water into Cook Inlet in amounts exceeding the effluent limitations of its permit resulting in approximately 617 NPDES permit violations. CP also discharged pollutants to Cook Inlet without authorization on two occasions.
