The Aguas Buenas WWTP consists of two 0.30 MGD contact stablization activated sludge package plants (Plant A and Plant B). On January 30, 2004, the EPS's Caribbean Environmental Protection Division, conducted a Compliance Evaluation Inspection ( CEI ) of the Aguas Buenas WWTP. The EPA representative observed several operational deficiencies during the CEI. Within ninety (90) calendar days of receipt of the ORDER, PRASA shall correct all the deficiencies found at the Aguas Buenas WWTP during the EPA's CEI of January 30, 2004. All the treatment modules, pumps, controllers, mechanical and electrical equipment should be in full operational condition. Within one hundered and twenty (120) calendar days of receipt of the ORDER, PRASA shall submit a certification to EPA stating that all required repairs/replacements identified in the ordered provisions have been made to the facility and are capable of full operation.
