The site is one of 5 sites in Utah on which cement kiln dust and refractory brick from the former Portland Cement Company Plant were dumped. The quantity of cement kiln dust material at the site is estimated to be approximately 42,500 to 68,000 cubic yards. Hazardous substances contained in cement kiln dust and refractory brick have been or threaten to be released at or from the site. EPA has performed removal actions at the site. In performing these response actions, EPA has incurred and will continue to incur response costs at or in connection with the site.
