The Respondent conducted unauthorized mechanized clearing and reseposition of earthern material to construct a levee in a mature, cypress-tupelo green ash swamp. The work resulted in approximately 8.1 acres of direct impacts and approximately 58.5 acres of indirect impacts. The violation site is located at Section 120, Township 14 South, Range 8 East, near Paradis, Louisiana.
