05/01/2025: Consent Decree Modification regarding certain discharges originating from the from the GE-Pittsfield facility to abutting surface waters, primarily the Housatonic River. The oversight and regulation of such discharges is being switched from the NPDES program to the Regional Superfund program.

10/20/2016 EPA issued a final permit modification for the Rest of River component of the consent decree.
01/16/2014: Settlement of Cost Dispute. Court ordered GE to pay costs that were defined in the Consent Decree in Untited States et al v. General Electric Co., Civil Action No. 99-30225 MAP (consolidated) (D.Mass)( Decree ).
09/24/2014: Amendment of Consent Decree (#12) to provide for Institutional Controls on certain properties owned by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
