VIOLATIONS: The Respondent's oil production field was a point source discharge of pollutants, specifically oil field brine, to the receiving waters of a Turkey Creek, located in Harris County, Texas. Recent review of a June 2, 2004, Information Request response indicates that the facility was out of compliance with the Clean Water Act (CWA) on October 6, 2003; November 19, 2003; and November 25, 2003.
RELIEF: The Order specifies that the Respondent should take whatever corrective action is necessary to eliminate and prevent recurrence of the violations cited in the Order. The Order also specifies that the Respondent shall submit a written report detailing the specific actions taken to eliminate and prevent the recurrence of the violations.
