VIOLATIONS: The Respondent's oil field facility was a point source discharge of pollutants, specifically oil field brine, to the receiving waters of a tributary of Beaver Creek, located in Wilbarger County, Texas. A December 8, 2004, EPA inspection documented the discharge of oil field brine from the facility to the tributary.

RELIEF: RELIEF: The Order specifies that the Respondent should take whatever corrective action is necessary to eliminate and prevent recurrence of the violations cited in the Order. Additionally, the Order asks the Respondent to consider: (1) remove a drain pipe; (2) Reconstruct secondary containment around a tank battery; (3) install a sump pump; and (4) remediate the areas impacted by the brine discharges. A follow-up inspection will determine the extent of compliance with the Order.
