CWA-06-2005-1814
TXU0100503

VIOLATIONS: The Respondent's oil field facility was a point source discharge of pollutants, specifically produced water, to the receiving waters of a tributary of Panther Creek, located in Archer County, Texas. A December 8, 2004, EPA inspection documented the discharge of produced water from the facilitys tank battery to the tributary.

RELIEF: The Order specifies that the Respondent should take whatever corrective action is necessary to eliminate and prevent recurrence of the violations cited in the Order. Additionally, the Order asks the Respondent to: (1) reconstruct secondary containment; (2) remove a drain pipe from the containment wall; (3) install a sump pump; and (4) remediate the areas impacted by the brine discharges. A follow-up inspection will determine the extent of compliance with the Order.
