This Administrative Order, pursuant to section 309(a) of the CWA, was issued to Son Manufacturing due to findings made during EPA's inspection of the Facility on January 13, 2004. This Order was issued to Son Manufacturing requiring it to comply with the Federal categorical pretreatment standards at 40 CFR 403 and 433.17. Son Manufacturing was in violation of these standards due to its failure to sample for all regulated wastestreams and because its' wastewater discharges exceeded applicable Federal numerical limits. The Order directs Son Manufacturing to submit a preliminary engineering plan and begin monitoring the Facility's wastewater discharge for all regulated wastestreams to verify that they have come into compliance with the pretreatment standards at 40 CFR 433.17.
