This emergency administrative order is issued to the Blackfeet Tribe because of a renovation project that involved using a jackhammer on the walls of a walk-in vault. The walk-in vault, along with the rest of the building, was constructed in 1970. EPA has reason to believe that fireproof material in the walls of the vault may contain asbestos. The work was performed during business hours without any prerequisite testing, using adequate safety measures, or evacuating the building.
