Region 10 plans to file an Administrative Complaint against G. F. Barnes Construction Inc and their corporate officers, Gary and Tamara Barnes (Respondents) for violations of Section 301 of the Clean Water Act. Respondents began construction of the Granite Peaks condominium development (aka Village View short plat ) near Sandpoint, Idaho, sometime in 2005. Violations include the failure to apply for permit coverage under the Storm Water Construction General Permit (CGP) and unpermitted discharges into an unnamed tributary that eventually leads to Schweitzer Creek. Note: Respondents (Gary and Tamara Barnes) named in Complaint document filed with Regional Hearing Clerk on 09/12/2008, were removed from the Amended Complaint document filed with the Regional Hearing Clerk on 04/15/2009.
