John Bezates operates a beef feedlot called Bezates Feedlot, which is covered by the Oregon CAFO General Permit (GP)-- no state GP # was assigned. During the inspection at the feedlot, EPA inspectors noted a discharge of process wastewater from the feedlot to Jacobsen Gulch Creek. The inspectors also noted that the feedlot had failed to properly maintain a system used for process waste collection. These are violations of the CAFO GP and accordingly violations of the CWA. The violations have been corrected.
