EPA is issuing an Administrative Order under Section 1414(g) of the SDWA to the Watertown Water & Sewer Authority (CT1530021) in Watertown, CT for the systemÂs failure to complete a system specific study by the September 30, 2008 deadline as required under the Stage 2 Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproduct Rule (Stage 2 DBPR). The SystemÂs failure to timely complete the system specific study will also cause it to miss the deadline of January 1, 2009 for submitting a complete Initial System Distribution Evaluation (IDSE) report to EPA and CT DPH as required by the Stage 2 DBPR. This Administrative Order requires the system to comply with a revised schedule for completing both items and to provide public notice for its failure to meet the required Stage 2 DBPR deadlines.
