EPA was Notified by King County Health Officer on July 14, 2004 visited a day care and there were potential leaking PCB light ballasts. The day care was Surreydowns Childrenï¿½ï¿½ï¿½s Center. This was referred to OEA by the PCB Program the same day received as a citizenï¿½ï¿½ï¿½s complaint. Concern by the NW Region Washington State Licensing over renewing the Day Care license.
