This Administrative Order was issued due to PRASA's failure to properly operate and maintain the Vista Azul Pump Station and the brisas Del Mar Sanitary Sewer System, which caused sewage overflows into waters of the U.S. PRASA is required to cease the discharge of pollutants into waters of the U.S. and to properly operate the pump station and sanitary sewer system to eliminate sewage overflows.
