Summary

Mr. David Wendland operates two gas stations in Idaho. He acquired Mountain View as of 1985 and Minmart as of 1988. Both are owned by Grocery Express, Inc. and Hailey Mini Mart, Inc. respectively. Wendland is the majority shareholder and president of both. The violations are for lack of financial responsibility for both facilities and operation and maintenance of the cathodic protection system for two tanks and piping at the Mountain View facility. Jackie Postons inspection of April 26, 2004 found nearly identical violations as Erik Sirs inspection of February 26th, 2001. Mr. Wendland also failed to comply with or respond to our 2001 Field Citation and follow up letter. Mr. Wendland did contract with his service provider to do some work at both facilities after the 2004 inspection, but we have no records that either facility has come into compliance with these violations. We know for a fact that they do not have insurance coverage under PSTF.
