VIOLATIONS: The Respondent's oil or gas extraction facility (known collectively as
Hawkins Field) was a point source discharge of pollutants, specifically produced water, to the receiving waters of Rogers Creek and Kay Creek, located in Wood County, Texas. ExxonMobil submitted thirteen noncompliance reports to EPA for discharges from the Hawkins Field, dating June 2000 until August 2004.
RELIEF: The Complaint proposed a penalty of up to $157,500 and requires ExxonMobil Production Company to file an answer to the Complaint within 30 days of the effective date.
