During the conference call, both parties agreed to a settlement of the emission violation through the entry of a combined Complaint and Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO).
CSN agreed to pay a civil penalty of $15,793 and complete a supplmental environmental project (SEP) designed to protect the environment and public health. CSN will spend at least $34,273 to complete the SEP.
