This facility was one of several UST facilities selected for inspection because of it's location in a ground water endangerment risk area in NYS. The facility was issued Field Citation II-UST-FC-1026, in the amount of $450, for the following violations: 40 CFR 280.31(b): failure to ensure proper operation of CP system; and 280.40(a): failure to provide adequate release detection method. To address the Field Citation the facility spent $3,980 to permanently close (remove) the UST; there was no evidence of contamination.
