This is an Administrative Penalty action pursuant to RCRA issued to Van Nuys Plating, Inc. The violations include (1) storage of hazardous waste without a permit; (2) failure to keep containers of hazardous waste closed; (3) failure to test and maintain equipment; and (4) failure to maintain an alarm in the hazardous waste storage area. The parties have established the terms of a consent agreement and final order (CA/FO) which requires respondent to pay a penalty of $15,941.
