This is an Administrative Penalty action with Consent Agreement/Final Order pursuant to RCRA Section 3008 issued to Romic Environmental Technologies, Corp. The violations involve: failure to comply with subparts AA & CC air emissions control device requirements; failure to comply with subparts AA & CC closed-vent system requirements; failure to comply with subpart BB equipment requirements; failure to comply with tank air emissions control requirements; storage of ignitable wastes less than 50 feet from the property line; failure to submit a revised part a application; storage of incompatible wastes adjacent to each other; failure to store hazardous waste in containers in good condition; failure to close containers of hazardous waste; failure to label containers of hazardous waste; failure to conduct inspections and maintain complete inspection logs; failure to mark universal waste lamps; failure to make a hazardous waste determination; and failure to provide adequate training. Romic Environmental Technologies has agreed to pay the Civil Penalty of $67,888 within 30 days and perform a Supplemental Environmental Project to purchase emergency equipment for the Gila River Indian Community Fire Department and the GRIC Department of Environmental Quality at a minimum cost of $100,800.
