Unilateral Administrative Order directing the Respondent to implement a time-critical removal action at the Rolling Plains Development Superfund Site, Town of Mendon, Monroe County, New York. Respondent must remove contaminated soil, and approximately 103 drums and other containers containing hazardous substances that were unearthed by the owner of the Site during construction of a road for a residential housing development. The drums and containers were haphazardly placed in roll-offs and currently pose a risk to the surrounding community due in part to the materials flammability and the threat of explosion that the materials pose.
