U.S. EPA FILES AN ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLAINT AGAINST TWF INDUSTRIES, INC., BARRETT, MINNESOTA
On September 28, 2005, Region 5 filed an Administrative Complaint against TWF Industries, Inc. (TWF). The Complaint seeks a civil penalty of $270,700 In the Complaint, Region 5 alleges that TWF stored hazardous waste that possessed the chromium toxicity characteristic on site, without a permit or having interim status, for a total of 363 days. As a small quantity generator of hazardous waste, TWF is only allowed to store hazardous waste on-site without a permit or interim status for a total of 180 days.
