This is a material modification to the existing Civil Judicial Referral pursuant to 301, 308, and 309 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) and the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) for the Department of Justice to modify its action against the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation's (CUC) Drinking Water System and Agingan and Sadog Tasi Sewage Treatment Plants, in Saipan, Commonwealth of Northern Marianas Islands (CNMI). This modification establishes additional injunctive relief in response to recently identified deficiencies and violations under SDWA and CWA.
