VIOLATIONS:  The Respondent's oil field lease was a  point source   discharge  of  pollutants,  specifically oil field brine, to the receiving waters of a tributary of Buck Creek, located in Cooke County, Texas.  An September 9, 2005, EPA inspection documented the discharge of oil field brine from the lease to the tributary.


RELIEF:  RELIEF:  The Order specifies that the Respondent should take steps to cease all discharges of pollutants and to neutralize the brine contaminated areas by applying soil amendments to neutralize the sodium chloride.  A follow-up inspection will determine the extent of compliance with the Order.
