U.S. EPA Region 5 has issued a consent agreement and final order (CAFO) under the Clean Air Act to GNW Aluminum, Inc. (GNW). U.S. EPA filed these orders to resolve violations of the Secondary Aluminum Production National Emission Standards of Hazardous Air POllutants at GNW's facility in Alliance, Ohio. On September 28, 2005, U.S. EPA filed a complaint against GNW. Under this CAFO, GNW will pay a civil penalty of $5,000.
