This is an Administrative Order (AO) for compliance pursuant to the Clean Water Act issued to Oakley, Inc., in Dayton, Nevada, an industrial user of the Lyon County South Dayton Wastewater Treatment Plant. The violation involves the unregulated discharge of solvents and suspended solids resulting in the venting of solvent fumes from the sewer system and the impairment of the sewage treatment plant. The AO requires control or elimination of the discharges that adversely impact the POTW and imposes a self-monitoring schedule to be in effect until the POTW obtains approval of its pretreatment program and can regulated the discharge itself.
