This is an Administrative Penalty action utilizing an expedited settlement (field citation) issued pursuant to RCRA-UST. A field citation was issued on 4/27/05 to Kayenta Chevron for failing to: 1) conduct annual line tightness tests, 2) conduct annual line leak detector tests, 3) inspect its impressed current system every 60 days, and 4) conduct tests of its corrosion protection system every 3 years. The $750 original field citation penalty was reduced to $300 based on documentation subsequently provided by the owner/operator showing that the required testing for violations #1 and #2 listed above had been conducted prior to inspection.
