Respondent Bailey and Bailey Inc. discharged wastewater from a laundromat into an abandoned Class V, UIC well for a period of two months, without providing required information to EPA and without authorization. The dischareg contained detergents and surfactants which may pose health risks if those contaminants enter an underground source of drinking waer and are then ingested. Repsondents discontinued that practice and paid a penalty of $2500.
