This is an Administrative Penalty Action pursuant to RCRA issued under the expedited settlement (field citation) program of RCRA-UST. On 8/24/05, a field citation was presented to the operator of the underground storage tanks (USTs) at Cedar Unified School District #25 in Jeddito, Arizona. The field citation addressed the following violations: 1) failure to comply with UST temporary closure requirements; 2) failing to continue release detection for the USTs and associated piping; and 3) failing to adequately upgrade or complete the closure process within 12 months for a temporarily closed UST system. This action establishes a penalty of $900.
