Since March 2002, Bacardi has been routinely violating numerous effluent limitations contained in its Permit. effluent limitations for Biochemical Oxygen Demand (�BOD�), BOD Percent (%) Removal, Cadmium, Copper, Color, Cyanide, Flow Rate, Fluoride, Lead, Manganese Oil and Grease, pH, Phenolic Substances, Selenium, Sulfides, Surfactants, Temperature, Total Suspended Solids (�TSS�) and Zinc at Outfall 001, pH, BOD, and BOD % Removal at Outfall 002, BOD, BOD % Removal and TSS at Outfall 003, and TSS and BOD at Outfall 004 as listed in Table 1 (Attachment 1) and violated effluent limitations for Cyanide, Phenolic Substances, Fluoride and Zinc in the mixing zone as seen in Table 2 (Attachment 1). This Order continues Interim Effluent Limitations for Bacardi under AO CWA-02-2005-3193 through September 30, 2006 and requires a High Test Molasses Study and Large Scale Solids Reduction Study.
