This is an Administrative Penalty Complaint (APC) issued to the Filling Station, Casa Grande, Arizona and utilizing an expedited settlement (field citation) pursuant to RCRA Subtitle I. The violations involve failure to provide release detection method for the tanks and failure to comply with financial responsibility requirements. The Complaint seeks a penalty amount of $450 and requires the facility to provide leak detection for the tanks. Due to the fact that this facility has not been receiving fuel on a regular basis for over a year, Respondent decided to place the facility in temporary closure for up to 1 year until a decision is made to bring the facility back into use or permanently close it.
