VIOLATIONS: The Respondentýs oil field facility was a point source discharge of pollutants, specifically produced water, to the receiving waters of a tributary of Walnut Creek, located in the Southeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 3 West, Carter County, Oklahoma. A March 8, 2006 EPA inspection documented the discharge of brine from the facility.
RELIEF: The Order specifies that the Respondent should also take steps to cease all discharges of pollutants; take the necessary steps to prevent future discharges; and to submit a facility work plan describing the specific corrective actions which will correct the violations.
