VIOLATIONS: The Respondents oil field facility was a point source discharge of pollutants, specifically produced water, to the receiving waters of a tributary of Mud Creek, located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 21 North, Range 10 East, Osage County, Oklahoma. A March 2, 2006 EPA inspection documented the discharge of brine from the facility.
RELIEF: The Order specifies that the Respondent should also take steps to cease all discharges of pollutants; take the necessary steps to prevent future discharges; and to neutralize or remove contaminated soils.
