Violation: The Respondent's oil field facility was a point source discharge of a pollutant to a waters of the US. The facility was inspected by the EPA on June 15, 2009. During the inspection the EPA had observed that the facility had discharged oil field brine to a tributary of Lake Creek.
Relief: A cease and desist Administrative Order is being issued to the Respondent requiring the following: cease and desist discharges from the facility; remove all brine and contaminated soils from the facility; remove all the brine from the flow path; remove all the brine from the tributary of Lake Creek; remove all the dead vegetation from the tributary of Lake Creek; and to submit written certification.
