On July 9, 2009, a unilateral administrative order was issued under CERCLA to conduct removal response work at the Lin Electric Site in Bluefield, Mercer County, West Virginia (hereinafter referred to as ÂSiteÂ). The Site is a former electric coil manufacturing facility. The order is issued to Cooper Industries, Ltd., who is a former operator of the Site at the time of disposal. The Lin Electric Site occupies approximately 4 acres and is located at 1400 Bluefield Avenue, Bluefield, West Virginia.
